Govt College Daulatpur Chowk, the temple of learning is located in the cradle of Shivalik Hills, on the banks of the Sawaan River. The College was established in 1972 by the sincere and relentless efforts of all the philanthropists and educationists of the area. Previously, it was governed by the Managing Committee, D.A.V College, Daulatpur Chowk.Distt Una. His Excellency, Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Sh V.S Kokje, issued a notification on 14th Sept. 2006 regarding taking over of Arts faculty of this college. This college is imparting education to the students in the following Stream.

  1. Arts Stream(BA.I,II,III)
  2. Science Stream(B.Sc I,II,III, Medical & Non Medical)
  3. Commerce Stream(B.Com. I,II,III)

    4. At present,following stream are running under self-financing scheme

  5. Post Graduation (M.A Economics)
  6. Computer Science (PGDCA,BCA)
  7. Management (BBA)

Department of education (B.Ed.) is affiliated to HP University Shimla. NCTE granted approval to run B.Ed. Course in 2003- 2004 with an intake of 60 seats and revised intake of single unit of 50 students in 2015-2017

It is an instituion imparting spiritual, moral and employment oriented education. The mission of the institution is to provide quality education to the students which promotes creativity, encourages innovation, instills ethical practices and enabling them to compete successfully at the national and international arena.
